If you're really looking to get someone's attention. This is one way to do it. It's really hard not to feel extremely bad for the teen in this situation. It's incredibly messed up that they refused to listen to them and didn't believe their issue. I'm having trouble even accepting that this is real.

Good for the teen for doing what they could to get their parent's attention. These parents sound like real scumbags.
