This flight attendant deserves a medal for her service in serving the entitled idiots of the world. This guy sounds like your typical customer who thought that he could make a massive stink about his situation in order to work his way into something better without paying for it.
Unfortunately, you see this behavior all the time in customer service as we have trained people to think that "the customer is always right". So they know that the company will fold eventually and give them whatever they want for free.
Kudos, to this flight attendant for giving him exactly what he asked for.
