Plagiarism will get you nowhere, and in Redditor u/CmSrN's case, plagiarism got some students nowhere and only made their lives more miserable in the process. This Redditor took to r/ProRevenge to talk about how they discovered that their students at a university cheated on reports about image processing that involved coding; not only did they cheat, but they pulled previous reports from the very same class straight off the internet. The professor caught this quickly and noted they didn't even use good reports from previous years to cheat with. When the professor gave these students poor grades and they made appointments to go through the reports and review their work, the professor decided to let them sit with their own mistakes, taking their sweet time to review each and every detail to the point where it grew obvious that they knew the students in question had cheated.
Honestly, these students got off lightly. Things could've ended up much, much worse than they did for them, considering that the university didn't pursue punishment for plagiarism beyond this glorious act of pro revenge.
