Anyone in this room who doesn't think kittens are the cutest thing in the world wide world, we will please ask you to pay attention, for we are about to change your mind. Yes, it is true that kittens are hooligans, and that when they are brought to a new home, the kitty shenanigans start from day one. And it's true that they will wake you in the middle of the night, run across your face, fall from random places and give you heart attacks.
All of that is true. But… have you seen a newborn kitten's tail? That's our convincing argument, and there is nothing you can say to disprove it. When cats get full grown, their tails become majestic fluffy things, but when they are still itty bitty kitties, and their tails take on that funny perpetually shooketh triangle shape, yeah… our hearts cannot withstand it, and yours will not be able to either.

Everything about new kittens is the cutest thing in the world. Every single thing. The tails are but one of the things that melt our hearts when looking at new itty bitty kittens. The ears that are too large for their heads, the tiny meows that reach deep into our souls, the clumsiness in the way they move… everything about them is purrfect.

Okay, you might have managed to change our minds with this picture. It is possible that our totally non-biased hearts are looking at this picture right now ands melting from cuteness. Maybe their triangle tails really are the cutest thing about them. But then- awww look at those paaaaaws.
