Dad Finds Out Wife Cheated on Him For Years, Kids Might Not Be His, Threatens to Cut Them Off If They Don't Get a DNA Test

There is so much to unpack here it's hard to even know where to start. Redditor u/zhhgn took to the website's popular community r/AmITheAsshole to ask for judgment on an impossibly heavy situation: the user described learning that their mother cheated on their father and that their father, blinded by rage, asked for all three of their children to take DNA tests to prove they were actually his biological kids or else he won't help pay for their college. This user wrote that they have a bad feeling they are actually not their father's biological child and on that hunch refused to take a test, leading to their dad to say he won't have anything to do with them now that they've turned 18 years old.

First off, the mom is clearly an a-hole if she is willing to cheat on her husband and possibly birth two children who were a result of that affair. Second, the father is also acting awfully to threaten to cut off the children he's raised just as their perception of their family is falling apart, too. These parents are worse than the ones who told their son that he couldn't get married on his entitled brother's divorce anniversary.
