Power Of Love: Before And After Adoption Glowups

It can be heartbreaking to see animals waiting powerlessly in the shelter for their furrever homes. That's why we love showing photos of the animals who have found wonderful homes and are thriving. Every week, we highlight some of the amazing transformations that occur when a newly adopted animal is showered with love and affection, pampered, and given an amazing new life to live.

Whenever we come across the before and after images of a neglected animal and the subsequent transformation to healthy and happy we can't help but get emotional. Do be warned though, the before picture is not always pretty, but it shows us a reality that we sometimes choose to ignore. We are just so happy that these animals got the second chance they deserved. The transformations that can occur even in a relatively short amount of time can be drastic! It just goes to show that the power of love goes a heckin' long way!

Aww, look at this cute little kitten. This poor cat is so cute but it definitely looks pretty scared. We can't blame it after what it must have been through as a stray kitten. Let's keep scrolling and see what the 'after' photo looks like once the awwdorable kitty has settled in.

Wow! The difference between the before and after photos is awwstronomical! Clearly now the cat is a happy and contented baby, napping peacefully away in its new forever home. What an incredible transformation!
