When this job seeker got called in for an interview for a retail position that they had applied for the interviewer tried to schedule the interview for a time that the job seeker wasn't available. When they informed the would-be employer that they had a doctor's appointment at that time the company demanded to see the note when they came in for the rescheduled time.
If that isn't the biggest red flag ever I'm not sure what is.
Imagine what this employer would be like to work for if this is how they treat job candidates.

The worst job interview I ever had was for a "startup" company based out of Seattle in a sales role for a communication platform. This was your typical sort of predatory startup that had wanted to sell how cool they were with a pingpong table and a keg crammed into the break room that nobody probably ever got to use.
For the interview they wanted us to go away and come up with a list of 50 different sales leads and then cold call a number of them. They were interviewing 10 of us for one role. I could see the real purpose of the process and asked the manager, who was running the interview process and foaming at the mouth at the prospect of 500 freely-provided sales leads, whether they were actually considering us for a role or just using us to aggregate a list of possible sales leads.
I said that I would be happy to demonstrate my phone sales skills through a training call to another employee at the company but would prefer not to make a cold call to a sales lead that I had provided for free. She got a bit upset with me and agreed and somehow talked me into providing my list of leads. Then, once I had submitted my list of leads, immediately told me that I wasn't going to be considered further for the role. I escalated to her manager, the CEO of the startup, he said some kind words to me but not much more came of it. In hindsight, he had probably been the one who started the practice. I never found out what ended up happening with the interview process or if they actually even hired anyone.
