Pet Owners Describe Heartwarming Moments When Their Bonds Grew Stronger: ICanHas Users Edition

Sometimes pets show their true cuteness best when they are completely and utterly themselves. And every pet has a unique way of expressing their love and appreciation for their human. Sometimes, it takes some time to warm up. Adopting a pet is a big transition both for the human and the pet! But then there is a heartwarming moment in which you can feel the bond you share with your pet getting stronger, and that's a beautiful thing. 

It can take time, but it is so worth it. We asked our users to share describe these special moments that they experienced with us and the wholesome goodness came pouring in.     Font - Kimberlee Hanson Bogs I was on new meds and didn't look up the side effects, after about 5 days they were so bad, I got extremely light headed and had to lay on the floor where it's 5-10 degrees cooler. Our youngest cat, tried biting my hair to drag me to the kids who were all sleeping.     Well, the cats certainly listened to the doctor's orders! They are setting an excellent example for their human who should be doing lots of resting and nothing else. Looks like everyone's on the right track!

    Organism - Top fan Tanya Webb This was Mazikeen (I lost her to cancer just before Christmas). When I adopted her, she had been at the shelter 5 of her 6 years, overlooked and overwhelmed. It took four weeks for her to even come out from under the bed. I read books out loud to her for hours at a time. This photo is the first time she ate in my presence, and you can see she was watching me very closely. It was a huge step forward in trust. She became the most joyous little cat I have ever known. S
