When u/fr0st-byt3 was approached by an annoying customer who was pushing him repeatedly and hard for a discount on a phone he couldn't have possibly seen what was to come next.
When the customer revealed themselves to be a loss prevention agent they disclosed that they were investigating u/fr0st-byt3's store due to some suspicious numbers. After u/fr0st-byt3 cleared themselves, with evidence, they took over stock control for the store.
u/fr0st-byt3 then goes on to explain how his coworkers were taking advantage of customers, including people with intellectual disabilities.
When it all came down to the wire and their manager told them that "If you don't like the way we do things here, you can leave." they took their advice.

We saw a similar call to a bad-bosses bluff recently when a worker was told to "Reconsider working here if you want to have a honeymoon."
