Pranks have always been a fun innocent act between groups of friends. As long as no one is getting hurt, both physically and emotionally. A good prank will cause both parties to laugh. However, there are always that person who takes it too far and people can leave their prank totally traumatized. Recently, newly wed couple Annalise Garcia and Alec LaCasse returned from their honeymoon to their home being pranked. Their friends had filled their rooms with balloons, everything in the hone was wrapped in Saran wrap (even their Roomba), their was an empty hamster ball, which cause them to worry if there was a rodent loose in the house—but that was not all! There were also plastic cups lining each and every step of every stairwell in their home and their bathtub was filled with live fish.
“We came back from our honeymoon to this…”
“EVERYTHING is Saran wrapped”
“There's an EMPTY mouse ball, which is terrifying.”
“Cups going all the way up [the stairs]”
“We open this [room] up to just THE MOST balloons.”
“But that's not even the worst part. They turned out bathtub into an aquarium.”
“They Saran wrapped our Roomba!”
Viewers are part laughing at the absurdity of the prank, but also have many concerns. Many of the fish were floating dead in the tub, causing worry that these living creatures were not being properly taken care of. They also are just annoyed at the friends, thinking they took everything way too far.
“If they came back and cleaned everything up themselves, then yes, it would be funny. But if they just left it….yeah we’d no longer be friends,” one commenter said.
“The balloons and cups fine - Saran Wrap okay - but the gerbil and fish… that’s too far,” another concerned viewer commented.
The Internet may think these friends went too far with this prank, but the couple are actually being quite good sports about it. They posted that they're already trying to plan out their revenge prank. In the meantime, they friends who helped pull this prank on them are coming in to help out with the insane amount of fish they left them with. Many are taking them in to have as pets of their own and one friend even made an impromptu pond in their background that they say they intend to upgrade.
Also, to show their good spirit in pranking, the friends came over to help them clean up the mess they left them with. Can you imagine leaving for a lovely romantic trip after just getting married, and coming home to your house in this kind of state? Pranks should always just be in good fun, so it was a happy ending knowing the friends/pranksters came through in the end of help clean up their own mess.
The friendship is still on, and it seems like the prank wars have just begun!
