As the weather gets colder, our sympathy towards animals left out in the chill gets larger, and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation's Twitter account is here to remind us not to give in to our weakness for felines, and keep them out of our homes. Who could have seen it coming, the interwebs are so strange, but one tweet snowballed into an epic photoshop and meme battle between Twitter using wildcat lovers everywhere.
You'll see that this delightful thread starts out with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation not letting big wildcats inside despite the cold, and features a lovely photo of a wildcat in the snow. What came next no one could have predicted, get ready, buckle up, and get ready to ride the humor train all the way to cackle-ville.
The innocent tweet of warning ignited a spark in the hearts of Twitter users everywhere, as they rushed in to comment and add in their own meme-d rendition of this charming feline enjoying a snow day.
Here kitty kitty! This bushel of yarn should do just the trick. Tear it to bits and then sew a warm sweater using your sharp teeth! If that doesn't work out though, you can always cling to it for warmth…just kidding come inside our home already. We have heaters in every room!
