When we are children we imagine parents as these super grown-up people who have seen it all, have answers for everything, and solutions to every problem. It isn't really until we or our close friends start having children that we realize parents are just people who decided to procreate, in some cases that's even a stretch of a definition. it's kind of nice when you think of it. We are all just figuring out our own paths, trying different things, and making hella mistakes on the way. Parents make mistakes all the time, they just won't admit t to their kids. And honestly, we get it. It can be humiliating just existing in front of a child, they are so judgmental sometimes. Would definitely rather not submit to that kind of roasting.
