Celebrities live under constant pressure to always look perfect, and most of them can't even go out makeup-free without making headlines. But these brave men and women decided to take their guards down and share their less-than-perfect pictures on social media. From embracing cellulite and body hair to taking no-makeup selfies, these celebrities prove that beauty really comes from within. We tip our hats to the women who bravely flaunt their hairy underarms. We cheers to the men that are proud of their tummies. Ain't nobody got time for body shaming. It's 2022, let's celebrate bodies. Keep scrolling to see which celebs are perfectly imperfect.
Last summer, Rihanna posted a natural selfie that exposed her leg hair and it had social media cancelling shaving altogether. It's amazing how much power she has. Many people responded by rejoicing and commenting things like "If Rihanna can have leg hair bitch so can I!!! I'm lit!" - @kkkkenzie_420
The 'I Want Candy' singer told his social media followers in 2017 that he had been body-shamed by a female fan, who didn't realize he was within earshot. "She said I look like I have cancer," wrote Carter, who was playing a concert in Syracuse, New York at the time.
Aaron continues, "I'm not ashamed of my body, maybe I'm too skinny, maybe I'm too short but the one thing I know is I love my fans my family my girlfriend and my friends."
Influencer Rozanna Purcell uses her platform to share honest expectations. She is known for showing the typical beautiful pictures along with one of the many reject pictures it took her to get the 'perfect' one.
She added, "You mostly see just the good days, but like any of my in between shots, Instagram shows a fraction of the life of the people you follow on here or the effort gone into one picture or minute video of their day. Don't compare someone else's 12 second highlight reel to you're own."
"Ah sure look, we all know by now it's all smokes and mirrors. Behind every photo you see is about 50 (maybe 80) in between shots, a patient friend & a filter. Also a picture does not say thousands words you've no idea if that person is actually having the time of their life or not, good or bad day. If we do anything take this place with a pinch of salt it'll surely help make it more enjoyable!
(As you know as I always say no picture is bad or worse but they're not picture perfect or what you might usually see from me!)
