You only have to take a short look at this site to realize that memes have an addictive quality to them. Thousands of videos, pictures and texts that we could broadly describe as meme-worthy are put out into the bottomless pit of the internet every single day, left to fight for their lives in the never-ending death battle of the attention economy.

Some of these will end up resigned to the dustbin of online history, while others will reach a niche following — maybe a stan community somewhere will pick them up, and fondly look back on them in years to come. For a lucky few, the meme will go super viral and go down in history in the memetic hall of fame. Whatever their fate, you can guarantee that all of the above will probably find their way into one of our random meme lists at one point or another.
