We're be honest with you, here at I Can Has Cheezburger we're huge fans of the whole. "adopt don't shop" movement. We even wrote a really jazzy song about it, "adopt, don't shop, give a little doggy a second shot". So with that being said, we are not really huuuge fans of people getting their pets from a pet store. But our line of expertise is mainly related to caring for cats and dogs, we don't know a whole lot about where the best places are to responsibly buy, say, a lizard, or a pet snake from. If you know, drop a comment below, and let's get educated together!
But in the meantime, a talented individual created a very amusing photo gallery showing the different kinds of animal in a pet store and a little bit about each one, so let's check that out together! If you like lizards, snakes, hamsters, fish, or any animals in between then you're going to be really interested in this Imgur thread we've found. So without further ado, we hope you enjoy this wholesome animal content featuring a diverse array of scales and furry characters.
Awww, look at this little goofball getting treated for what we assume is fleas. We're happy he started to enjoy his bath after a little bit of time in the water, how interesting because for all of us who own pet cats we know that exposure to water does not make every animal gradually understand the water is nice. We hope this fur ball has an absolutely delightful bath time!
Ha, that powder is calcium? We totally thought for a second that it was salad dressing just based on the color of it, we guess calcium powder is the turtle version of ranch dressing. This little guy looks so delighted to be eating his salad, we always say that if you're vegetarian and want a pet who isn't carnivorous, turtles are the way to go!
"Some guy said he wanted a ham so I asked if he had a cage. He did. Then mentioned he had another ham in there so I was like "you need another cage then because they don't live together" this is the "habitat" he comes back with (saucer for scale) and says it's gonna be only for 2 weeks. Told him he's gonna have to come back in 2 weeks then cuz that is temp only (says so on the paper) and not suitable for hams due to chewing plastic. Whomp whomp he stormed off."
