Clearly, what we have here is not merely a cat. This is a distinguished gentleman who must be respected forever and always. Of course, even though he's a gentleman, there will be times when he will randomly run into a wall or get its head stuck in some unsuspecting plastic bag, and he will need to be rescued. Rescued, yes, but respected nonetheless.

Well, if this didn't make our heart break. Personally, we think that this is the only proper way to commemorate a kitty who has passed. And while seeing this saddens us ever so slightly, it does make us happy as well - to know how much this cat must have been cherished and loved in life. Rest easy, Colonel.
