'Listen to the chitchat!:' Mama cat explains to her kitten how to use the stairs for the first time

Everybody has to learn how to use stairs for the first time, even humans. As an itty bitty version of yourself, it's quite intimidating. You can't just hope down them like you know exactly what you are doing, because what if you miss a step and plummet to your demise? What if you slip and bump your noggin? It's scary! So now imagine being even smaller, kitten-small, with fuzzy little paws, trying to tackle the stairs head first!! That seems so scary. 

So of course when TikToker @catastrophiclives' kittens were using the steps for the first time, they were terrified. 

Recently, this TikToker's cat gave birth to four adorable kittens. The family was instantly strong and mama cat wanted to teach her babies everything. The steps seemed to be a challenge, so she recruited human mom for help. It took some coercing to get most of the kittens to even start to attempt to walk down the stairs, but they did. 

They weren't very good at it at first, falling all over the place. Taking a tumble down the stairs is never fun and quite rattling, but it didn't seem to stop these kittens from concurring them.

However, there was one kitten who was just not getting it. All the other siblings tried it and were able to figure out how to walk down the steps without turning into a fur avalanche. But his kitten was too afraid to even try. Maybe it was because they sat there and watched all their siblings taking their multiple tumbles before figuring it out, and this kitten decided the tumbles weren't worth it. 

But there's nothing like a little pep talk from mom for encouragement. The mama cat saw her baby at the top of the stairs, too afraid to come down. So she trots on up to her, sits on the step lower, and stairs meowing to her like she's explaining to her exactly what to do. 

The kitten and mama have a thorough talk, with adorable meows back and forth, before the kitten decided to get the steps another go. It was as if the mama cat was actually trying to explain to her everything about how to tackle the steps and even reassure her that mama will be there to help her along the way. It was the most adorable and wholesome moment caught between mama cat and kitten!
