People love flex that they saw a certain band first or heard a hit song on the radio before it became a hit. I admittedly am one of those people.... sometimes. However, I never claim that one genre is better than another or try to be a music snob. Music is powerful and it speaks to everyone in different ways. Who am I to judge? The moral judges of Reddit have a lot to say though. Yesterday, Reddit user u/ryuundo asked the AskReddit community: "What is your most unpopular musical opinion?" The thread quickly went viral as thousands of people shared their unpopular music opinions that ranged from popular bands they don't like to what they think of music snobs (excluding themselves). We have gathered some of the top-voted and best comments. No artist was safe. These savages came for Adele and The Beatles. People did not hold back. Let's leave pretentiousness at the door. Everyone thinks it's cool to hate on pop music. Well it is popular music for a reasonnn. If you like the sound of a tune whether it's popular or not - just embrace it. Music is for the soul. There is not right or wrong way to enjoy. You don't get cool or lame points for liking certain songs. Blast it proudly kings and queens.

I have been preaching this since 5th grade. Green Day has always been a punk band and I will go down dying saying this. They did not sell out. They never changed their music style in order to become popular. They became popular BECAUSE their music was so good and people craved more all over the world. Great music is great music. PERIOD.

Now this is just sacrilegious. Adele is a legend, a queen, a genius etc. I could go on for hours. Adele's writing is always upfront and honest. You know exactly the story she's telling, and even if you haven't experienced divorce yourself, you feel every word of it. Her voice is sounding better on her last album. Adele has range for days and we won't stand for this slander.
