The OP in this story is a 26 year old woman who is seven months pregnant. She is not yet married to the father of the child. She says they will probably get married after the baby is born. Because they are having a child out of wed-lock, OP was too afraid to share the news. Her family is very judgmental and believes in not having sex until marriage. She communicates with her family by ZOOM calls, so she figured she could hide the news for the beginning of the pregnancy. She managed to hide it for a full seven months until her sister made a surprise visit. When her sister saw that she was visibly pregnant, she freaked out. She called OP horrible names and then outed her situation to their parents... what a sister she is. This led to her parents pretty much doing the exactly the same thing. They berated and shamed her. Yet somehow they don't understand that this reaction proves exactly why she felt the need to hide. Help OP and the moral judges of Reddit to decide who is the AH.
Usually one tells their family right away. It's exciting news that should be met with a celebration. OP must have their reasons. Keep reading before you judge.
