Dating, courting, manifesting a boyfriend - whatever we call it, it's been an interesting game to play since the beginning of time. At first, we enjoyed playing the game, but the longer we stayed in the game as single players, the more frustrating it became. Dating apps such as Hinge, OkCupid, and Bumble were meant to make the whole ordeal easier, but it seems like they've just introduced another layer of complications to the playing field. Some people don't photograph well enough to see what they really look like in their profile, whereas others are the worst texters. Even if their personalities shine IRL, we might not be able to tell over text and not bother going out with them due to the assumption that they have nothing of substance to share. Then there are the men that are total creeps, but we deal with that IRL regardless. The people of Twitter have a whole lot to say about their experiences on dating apps. Check it out below.
Rebekah's being a tad bit harsh. We get what she's saying but by that logic, we also stopped developing mentally in 2003 because we're obsessed with those shows too and now we're feeling attacked. Even though it might get repetitive to swipe through people with the exact same interests, the reason why these TV shows get so repetitive is that they're so gosh darn good that they've become universal.
At least this man admitted that it's a weird interest. People have weird preferences, and it's a green flag that he's honest from the get-go. It's up to Jessica to decide whether she can handle this weird preference of his. Alas, we assume she deleted the dating app shortly after this encounter.
