Before And After Adoption Glowups (February 22, 2022)

It can be heartbreaking to see animals waiting powerlessly in the shelter for their furrever homes. That's why we love showing photos of the animals who have found wonderful homes and are #thriving. Every week, we highlight some of the amazing transformations that occur when a newly adopted animal is showered with love and affection, pampered, and given an amazing new life to live.

Whenever we come across the before and after images of a neglected animal and the subsequent transformation to healthy and happy we can't help but get emotional. Do be warned though, the before picture is not always pretty, but it shows us a reality that we sometimes choose to ignore. We are just so happy that these animals got the second chance they deserved. The transformations that can occur even in a relatively short amount of time can be drastic! It just goes to show that the power of love goes a heckin' long way!

Aww, look at this cute little kitty. The poor cat is so cute but it definitely looks pretty scared. We can't blame it after being abandoned in a dog house for so long, and having no idea what to expect. We're so happy to see the photos showing that this super awwdorable kitty has settled into his forever home.

Wow! The difference between the before and after photos is awwstronomical! Clearly now this adorable dog is a happy and contented baby, napping peacefully away in its new forever home. What an incredible transformation!
