A systems engineer came across a confidential document containing all employee salaries. They were shocked to see what some of their coworkers were earning, and the desire for justice suddenly emerged.
u/ihavealotofquests shared this story to the r/antiwork subreddit, looking for a little bit of advice as to what they should do.
When u/ihavealotofquests was helping an Office Manager, they copied a heap of files from their office folder. u/ihavealotofquests got back to their desk and accidentally opened one of these documents. They were astounded to find that inside the file was a list of every single salary of every single employee in the company.
u/ihavealotofquests is leaving the company soon and has some less than stellar things to say about their time there. The company is known for chronically underpaying its staff, and u/ihavealotofquests wants to make that as well known as possible.
Commenters were quick to offer their advice and ended up giving u/ihavealotofquests a solution to their problem.
