When we were kids, we thought we would have everything figured out by adulthood. We thought our parents knew everything and anything, and that we'd have nothing to worry about once we reached their age. Nobody warned us about what was coming. Our best guess as to why they didn't warn us is that they wanted us to enjoy our childhood innocence for as long as we can. Now that we're all grown, we know the truth. We'll admit that we rarely have any idea what's going on, and that's okay. We just have to learn how to be cool with rolling with the punches. Now we've been doing this adulting thing for a while, we think we're getting the hang of it, but when we think about when we first started out, we were not doing well.
