Everyone is “lovin' it” because of Pusha T
Did you know that Pusha T and his brother cowrote the iconic “I'm Lovin' It” jingle for McDonald's back in 2003?
“It was like half a million or a million dollars for me and my brother—but that’s peanuts for as long as that’s been running," Pusha T told Rolling Stone in a feature about the diss, “I had to get that energy off me, and this [ad] was the perfect way to get that energy like, ‘You know what? I’m over it.’”
A lot of people didn't know that Pusha T's McDonald's diss was actually personal, but as soon as the internet began connecting the dots, the track exploded on Twitter. -
