Good day friends! Did anyone else watch Jurassic Park as a kid and wish even just a little bit that they could come face to face with a real-life dinosaur? We know that we sure did! We might have missed out on an opportunity to meet some dinos up close and personal, but we were thankfully born in the era of legos. So basically, we win. Because we get to enjoy all the awesomeness of the dinosaurs, without actually getting in their way and potentially becoming dinner!
This incredible series of images captured at the Marwell Zoo show off their new exhibit of marvelously crafted lego dinosaurs. According to the Marwell Zoo's website: "At the Fossil Zone, kids both big and small can literally walk in their favorite dinosaurs' footsteps on the fossil pavement, plus prepare for a few surprises! The event will take professional builders at Hampshire-based workshop Brick Live International more than 9,000 hours to complete."
How many hours?! Holy moly.
Hey pretty pretty, here boy! Well, aren't you a charmer? Can we see a little smile?
Just a teeny little one?
BOOM. DANG you got some big teeth!
If you think about it, it makes sense that this project took 9 thousand hours to complete. 9 thousand hours seems like an almost incomprehensible amount, but just look at all the small details in the colors, to achieve that with legos? We are awestruck.
