Gender roles can be pretty exhausting to keep up with. Not all women know how to cook and shouldn't be expected to be the only ones to do so when they begin a family with their spouse. And men shouldn't be expected to know how to fix up cars and kill all the spiders that come into their personal space. Obviously, we are aware that not everybody fits the stereotypes that are assigned to their gender, but the fact that these 'roles' are still commonly recognized just proves that we have a long way to go.
Still, sometimes we find ourselves naturally aligning with certain gender expressions, even though we don't feel outwardly pressured to do so. Some women love to cook and would love to have the privilege to be a stay at home moms.
On Reddit, women are sharing some gender roles that they personally don't mind at all, and the responses may be a bit surprising.
