Tumblr Thread: Woman Catches Her Cat Unexpectedly Cozying Up To Toy Skeleton

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you randomly just perished at home in the middle of the day? What would your cats do? It's a question we find ourselves asking ourselves every once in a while, morbid as it may be. It's just that cats have such weird reactions to some things, and we can't help but wonder about it. Like- cats reacting to treadmills is something that certainly didn't go the way that we expected, while cats reacting to bird videos went exactly the way that we thought it would. And when it came to trying to bamboozle cats with an optical illusion… we wanted to be surprised, but honestly, we were not. 

We were surprised by the following cats' reactions to toy skeletons. Mostly, w were surprised by how easily they took to said skeletons, sitting on them, cozying up on their laps. If this is how they'd react if we one day perished, well…

    It's amazing- the level of curiosity with which this cat approaches this skeleton. One cannot say that this cat was confused, that it thought this lap belonged to its human. No, this cat knew that this thing was what it was, and it chose it anyway. That's how easy we are to replace, man, smh.

    Just like that. Like this is not slightly disturbing and incredibly weird. We thought it was a one-time thing, a one of a kind type of cat, but as we continued scrolling through this thread and saw more and more of them… we began to wonder about what this actually means.
