Cat Doesn't Want To Move Homes So He Hides In Washing Machine With Security Blankie

As pet owners, you guys must be familiar with that anxious feeling of uncertainty when your pet is just a little too quiet. Your heart drops and you immediately start to panic. You search the entire house, check every cabinet, every cardboard box, and… nothing. The mind starts to wander and automatically goes to the darkest places until suddenly, you finally see a furry tail peeking out from the one place you didn't even think to look. But in your defense, you never even knew your cat could open doors.  

Today's story features a Reddit discussion about exactly just that; cats and their clever hiding places. Someone shared that they were in the process of moving homes and while they were packing, they realized that their cat was nowhere to be found. Now we can imagine how stressful this must've been, especially with all the clothes and boxes all around the house. Well, turned out the silly little fella was just chilling in the washer with his security blankie. How awwdorable?

    Look at all that adorable fluff. The poor guy must've been so scared and confused about all the moving fuss, so he decided to find comfort in a safe place… with his safety blanket. 

    On a real note though, please please please always check the washer machine and make sure no animals are inside before you turn it on.

They needed to check something in the bathroom so I made sure the door was closed and opened the bathroom, no cat. Took us years to find his hiding place for when thunder or fireworks go off. We just had no cat for hours with no explanations or the longest time.

    Font - Jambinoh - 3 days ago Years ago when I helped my mom move, we could not find one of the cats. We searched every inch of the house for hours, up and down, wandered all over outside. Nowhere to be found. Finally sit down to eat and think about next moves... I hear a rustling sound and see the fabric on the side of a couch being pushed out. It had a panel on the front and sides, was pushed up against the wall and sat maybe an inch off the ground. I could barely reach my hand in to get him out. After 3 hours of searching we were about to decide to move on and check the shelter websites when the box spring started meowing. We had to get on a plane the next day and were frantically searching the whole neighborhood for the cat. All the neighbors were out looking. The next morning we were really sad.
