Have you ever taken a really, really awful flight? We don't mean like, having one crying baby for a few hours. We're talking about the type of flight that you talk about for the rest of your life. A few months ago, someone had an experience like that, but when they turned to Reddit for sympathy, they couldn't find anyone to dry their tears. That might be because they were being a total asshole, but we'll let you be the judge once you read the story for yourself.
Apparently, this woman and her friends had planned a vacation away together, but she failed to notify the airline of her supposedly deadly allergy to dogs. That's mistake number one. Then, a woman with a guide dog boarded the plane, and this first woman threw a fit saying she could possibly die if she was trapped in the cabin with that sweet, helpful little pooch. That was mistake number two. Then, this whole situation just kept snowballing when this total jerk just couldn't get out of their own way. They even found out that the woman with the service dog was on her way to visit a sick family member, and that still wasn't enough to get them to stop complaining. The airline wound up offering a replacement flight in first class with only a two hour delay, and yet they still wouldn't budge. But, when it was all said and done, they came crying to Reddit and got rightfully smacked down. We couldn't stop laughing at how brutal all these comments were, so we just had to put them together for you. Seriously, wait until you get a load of all of this.
Right off the bat, you can tell that this lady is going to out herself as being an asshole. The red tag you see on the post was added afterwards when moderators realized that everyone had come to a consensus decision. Still, when have you ever heard someone say something helpless or kind after saying that they'd rather avoid being identified?
There's a lot of vagueness about what apparently happened on this plane. The woman could've been put in the hospital by the dog, but the airline wasn't aware of it? It's a small plane for a short distance, but there's another flight two hours later? Also, how is her having paid for the vacation any different than the other woman paying for her own flight? Something just doesn't add up here.
