This wife has decided that she is done cooking for her husband after she overheard him telling her father-in-law that her cooking "can only be fed to pigs, not humans." Her feelings are extremely hurt but the husband claims that he had been "trying to protect her feelings" and that she "hurt him."
This thread was posted to r/AITA (Am I the Asshole) by the wife, u/WalkAMileI5, who is wondering if she is in the wrong for refusing to cook for her husband after overhearing his comments.
Commenters have been lambasting the husband and condemning his attitude. "NTA, he doesn't deserve your cooking. Or give him the potato peels, like you would a pig." replied likeahike.
Overall the determination seems to be that she should no longer cook for him and should do whatever makes her happy.
