Life is pretty ridiculous when you think about it. We all do our best, we try to be nice to each other, we try to do things that make us feel good about ourselves, we try to find partners and friends and make sure we keep in touch with our family… etc etc. none of these things are inherently weird, but if you think about how an alien would look down on humans, The superior animal on earth that clearly dominates all other species, don't you think they would laugh at how we do certain things? Or just how seriously we take things?
Like how seriously we take our finances and studies and love life. It's just kind of cute and funny to poke at how quirky humans are. How we hold hands with people that we tend to like to smash faces with and other things.
