Oh, it's a story as old as time - cats being jerks. It's just… part of being a cat. They can't help it. They're independent, they're curious, they feel like they rule the world - which they do. Why wouldn't they push our buttons? But when we try to push one of their, when we cross so much as one line by putting them in their little cages and taking them to the vets to help them out, ohhh no, they do not like it. And when they are at the vet, these spicy kitties need to be held the heck down.
This is where burritoing comes in. Or, as it is better known in the cat world - purrito, kitties wrapped up in blankets. It's for their own good! Cats can be jerks as much as they want at home, but when it comes to the vet, they have to behave and refuse to, so the get the purrito of shame treatment. And yes, it's hilarious.
Oh, we always love seeing people who are not as insanely involved in the cat world as we are discovering new terms about cats. Wait until they find out about the danger belly, murderbeanz, airplane ears, and the utter purrfection that is the cat loaf. It will be a beautiful, if not crazy, day.
Honestly, the amount of respect we have for veterinarians is unparalleled. Not only do they deal with patients that are hella nervous and unable to explain what is actually wrong with them - they also deal with animals, who can be just as difficult to understand.
