'She went and hid behind the pole': Racist Karen squatting at an airport baggage claim gets epically told off by multiracial mom and daughter team, Internet applauds

What are the laws when it comes to taking up space in a public airport? People are obviously not allowed to just live in one, but there are some who get stranded due to flight cancellations or whatever for several days and end up sleeping on the benches inside. How do you decipher between someone who is simply stuck waiting for the next possible flight to catch, and someone who is squatting in the baggage claim? One thing is for sure, if you are trying to hide out as long as you can in an airport, it's probably best to lay low and now freak out and bring attention to yourself like a total Karen.

A multiracial family of a mother and her daughters from Ohio were waiting for their baggage coming back from a trip. As they were minding their own business, however, a very shady Karen character decided to rudely insert herself into their lives. The mother and daughter happen to be multiracial and the other people around them happened to be Black, and for some reason this Karen was fine with the white mom sitting near her, but the second her Black daughter was close, she started going crazy.

Obviously, this Karen was racist. But what didn't become clear until further into the situation, it would appear that this Karen has been living in this airport, squatting, for several days now. The situation started when the white mother sat near her and everything was fine, but then she was joined by her Black daughter, and the racist Karen started freaking out.

The family chose that empty baggage claim area because one of the daughters had a phone interview, so they needed to wait somewhere quiet for their bags. As they waited, however, the Karen started recording them for no reason. The daughter noticed and obviously felt uncomfortable and asked her why she was recording them. The Karen said she was saving herself from “dangerous people like them.” And that's when the daughter asked her mom to start recording and the mother daughter team stood up to the racist Karen. The drama is real, but the mother-daughter energy is epic.
