It's basically stockholm syndrome at this point, let's be real. No matter how many times they bite us, how many times they scratch us - even accidentally, no matter how many times they knock our favorite things off our shelves and poke holes into our clothes, we keep crawling back to them for the smallest bit of affection. We're aware, and we don't even care lol.
