Losing a pet is incredibly heartbreaking. But, with the careful and concerted efforts of members of your community, there's always a chance you'll find your pets again! That's thankfully what happened in this situation, although it affected much more than just a few members of the community. In Wales, UK, there's a popular department and grocery store chain called Sainsbury's. And, in one particular Sainsbury's store, there a very friendly little cat named Clover who likes to hang out in the garden section. Customers at this store always make it a point to stop and say hello to Clover, and when employees are closing up at the end of the night Clover marches home and gets herself a nice meal. Clover is so loved, she even has a Facebook page with more than 4,000 followers, who love seeing and hearing about her antics.
But, a few weeks ago, Clover went missing. Much to the chagrin of Clover's owners, and the customers at Sainsbury's, she didn't come home one night, and didn't show up to the store next morning. For ten days her owners struggled and reached out to countless different organizations and community groups, to no avail. Until, all of a sudden, a picture of Clover popped up in a community Facebook group in the town of Brynmawr, Wales, UK, twenty five miles north. Clover's owners were naturally shocked, but the next day their beloved little loaf was home, and the day after that she was back at her beloved Sainsbury's store! A scary ordeal for sure, but we're just glad that everything worked out. Take a peek down below if you want to follow Clover's crazy adventure for yourself!
This is the little loaf in question, Miss Clover. She's a beautiful cat, and has been visiting Sainsbury's for as long as her owners, and the store owners, can remember. Thankfully, when she went missing, animals lovers across the UK were able to band together and help her get home. Now, Clover's Facebook page has become a central location for lost and found cat notices in the area!
This Clover isn't just adorable, she's also a very, very smart cat. Even she knows that the garden section is the best section of a big box store like Sainsbury's! Sure, the food is good, but she's not going to get any scraps over there. Instead, might as well nestle in by the basil plants and enjoy the nice smells.
