Influencer Kirby Johnson recently shared a story that had to do with her pet snake that instantly went viral. She calls the snake her “step snake” because the snake came with her boyfriend, she didn't get the snake herself. That being said, she still loves the snake like her own.

Anyways, when her and her boyfriend go out of town they have an 80-something-year-old woman who lives next door who pet sits for them. The first time it happened, she left her with all the proper signage instructing her on what to do with their snake. But then she gets a call from the old lady with her saying she just adores their snake.

Johnson was confused at first, but then remembered there is a shell that looks like a turtle in the snakes tank that the lil slithery guy likes to hang out in. She tries to let the old woman know that it is not a turtle, it is a snake. But she was just not having it. It's been three years now, the elderly woman still comes to pet sit the snake, and she still calls it the most miraculous turtle she's ever seen.
