It feels like one of those things that should be obvious. If someone makes a lifestyle choice that affects you in no way whatsoever and doesn't hurt anyone, you're not in a great position to start harassing them. If you can't stand someone else's diet, congratulations, you don't have to eat like them. Under most circumstances.
This time around, this kid was giving his sister a hard time over not eating meat, so as punishment, the whole family decided to go vegan for a month. Proving himself to be the child that he is, this kid tattled to his grandparents, and now battle lines are being drawn. The kicker is, the kid is totally free to go buy and cook meat on his own if he truly wants to.
The internet was pretty supportive of this parenting decision.
