From pigeons flying down chimneys to cockroaches crawling under the kitchen cupboards, wildlife has many unwelcome ways of introducing itself into our homes. Even if they're the kind of critter that we can appreciate in the great outdoors, an unexpected intrusion by an animal in the house is almost always an undesirable nuisance. While it's an inevitable part of living pretty much anywhere, shooing out an unwanted visitor can be a very stressful experience — as well as one that doesn't usually go to plan.
This has been proved in a stressful TikTok shared by @getburly, in which a woman appears to be trying to free a chipmunk trapped between a window and an insect screen. While the situation was tense throughout, it ended with a dramatic climax which left viewers both horrified and titillated. Note to self: when trying to rescue one of our friends from the animal kingdom, make sure to take into account the other members of it, too.
