Hey cat-lovers! We cat-loving humans learn new things about our cats every single day. Whether it's useful tidbits of information like the fact that our cats seem to be infatuated with packing tape and materials, or less useful tidbits of information like the fact that our chunky black cat has developed a new habit of meowing ever so loudly throughout his sleep.
Well, one cat-owning Redditor took to the interwebs to ask the audience of r/cats if anyone had any insights about his cat's breed. His cat sure is a long boi, and a big boi at that. The original poster thinks that he might have some Maine Coone in him, or maybe another breed of large cats. Reddit however, remained unconvinced. Rescues tend to be a mishmash of cat genetics and one can rarely tell what the ancestry of their cats actually is. But that's okay! No matter how big, small, fluffy, and or bald, we love us some cats.
This cat looks like he is extending his arms out wide in preparation for a huge bear hug! And wouldn't we love to be on the receiving end.
"Picked up this guy as a kitten and he never stopped growing, he just turned 1! I'm 6 foot 2 for reference. Any chance he's got Maine coon or savannah in him? He's 15 lbs!"
Big boy is long! We love a long cat, keep on growin'.
