Men Reveal Important Lessons They Learned From Their First Serious Relationships

Relationships are complicated, and they don't always work out the way we originally envisioned. That's just the reality of real life. There is no correct script to adhere to, and you've just gotta roll with the punches and hope for the best. When relationships don't work out, it doesn't mean it was a total waste of effort and time. On the contrary, every relationship that you've been in is an opportunity to learn new things about yourself, what you're looking for, and what type of person you'd be compatible with. In today's AskMen post, someone asked the men of Reddit about what they learned from their first serious relationship, and they really understood the assignment. They were  very honest and thoughtful in their responses. If you're someone about to enter something serious with someone new, this is a great read. It doesn't have to be extravagant, but anything that motivates the person to get out of bed.
