A Twitter Thread Of Cats That Welcomed And Accepted Their New Rescued Siblings Into The House

Greetings, ICanHasers! How is everyone feeling today? We hope the answer is amazing! Though if you're not quite there yet, we have something that ought to warm your hearts, inspire your souls, and maybe even convince you to get another cat? Who knows.

We recently stumbled upon a Twitter thread where someone posted a photo of their two cats grooming each other all while chilling on a windowsill. At first glance, you don't really think anything of it. But once you have a second to read the caption, it all clicks, and hearts are melted forever. So basically, as you've probably already made sense by the title, someone rescued a cat and brought the cat home with them. The catch is that they already had a cat. Now we know of many horror stories of people trying to introduce two pets to one another. Okay, maybe horror is a little bit overdramatic, but you know, it requires tons of patience and time. OP was obviously super lucky for their cats to start bonding just a day after they met, but hey, life works in mysterious ways. Now that's a bonded pair right there! That just about saved you months of introducing them to one another using gates and separate rooms. All jokes aside though, this is the most wholesome thing ever. The first cat will teach the second cat all the rules of the house and such ??

But actually, are we in disbelief after all? Seems like a perfectly cat thing to do. Give birth to kittens, forget that they're yours, and go through a 3-month process of introduction. Yup, sounds about right.
