Hey folks! We come across so many different types of cat content every day, and sometimes we just need to slow down and focus all of our attention on one kind of cat. And today, that is Siamese cats! According to our favorite source of information, Wikipedia, "The Siamese cat is one of the first distinctly recognized breeds of Asian cat. Derived from the Wichianmat landrace, one of several varieties of cat native to Thailand, the original Siamese became one of the most popular breeds in Europe and North America in the 19th century." Interesting!
These cats are absolutely gorgeous, though we often say that about all types of cat breeds because it is the truth! We have scoured across the realms of one of our favorite social media platforms, Twitter, to bring you a delightful compilation of Tweets featuring pawsome Siamese cats. Try to resist the urge to go out and adopt one right away! Or don't.
"Random science fact: in 1975 a Siamese cat co- authored a physics paper. Chester, whose pen name is F.D.C Willard, was owned by physicist Jack H. Hetherington. He wrote the entire paper in the plural, and rather than go back and edit it, he included his cat as the co-author."
Now that's a paper we'd have a gander at.
