This former Subway "Sandwich Artist" took to Twitter on Monday to share their experience with an unfortunate individual who intentionally ordered a "questionable sandwich" that would haunt their nightmares.
They note in their initial tweet that kick-started the thread that they "sincerely worry about the person who ordered it."
The story was told by @pb_and_garlic who shared their story in the form of a Twitter thread or what we used to refer to here as a "Live Tweet" (are we still using that?)
Anyone who has worked in retail or the service industry could talk your ear off all night about the crazy things they have witnessed, experienced, or otherwise had to deal with during their time on the front lines. There is no shortage of crazy people in this world and no shortage of ordinary people with bizarre tastes and preferences. So, really, it's not all that surprising that these types of situations occur.
The initial thread prompted a slew of other scarred service workers to come forward with their own stories and share their own horrifying food experiences.
