A Scattering of Random Memes

While we might be able to agree on their main function as light entertainment, the deeper meaning of memes is something that's up for argument (if there is any at all). Many feel that they are a very effective communicative tool, for putting propaganda and other such thoughts into people's heads. There's an overlapping group that thinks they are akin to an art form, albeit a lowbrow one. Others still think they're just a bunch of silly little images and videos that we happen to find funny. Whatever your opinion on what memes mean, you would have to be a complete luddite not to at least enjoy a few of them. That's the attitude that we like to take when we build one of these lists, because it's good to enjoy a varied platter of what's out there on the internet, in moderation. Just remember there will be a time when you have to stop scrolling, too.
