Woman Was Warned That Barn Cat Is Vicious, Cat Turns Out To Be The Exact Opposite

Ah, the classic 'careful with adopting that cat, it's feral, it's gross, it's mean, it's anxious, it's angry and incapable of love'. Sound familiar? We personally hear this all the time. Whether it's friends discussing adopting cats or stories on the internet. But it's just simply not true! For some particular reason, the world just loves to hate on cats and demonize them. We're not denying that cats can be aggressive, of course, they can. But what being isn't? And now that we're on this topic, let's think about why cats are angry, anxious, or scared? Most probably because of the experiences they've had with humans. So shouldn't it be the other way around? 

As you've probably guessed, today's story is about a woman that was warned about a barn cat being scary and mean. It didn't take long for her to prove them wrong.     That doesn't look like a vicious dangerous animal to us… she's cautious, yes but who wouldn't be? The most important thing is that she's open-minded and ready to explore. Ready to do some sniffies sniffies and meet this new hooman, maybe she'll be better than the others.

    Yup, seems like a quality hooman to her. This one is much more gentle and nicer than the others. She doesn't yell or scream or give her any negative energy. Maybe a lil something some people can learn from her, just saying.

While going through the vet stuff for adoption even the vet refused to see her without sedating her because she'd been there before and they were terrified of her.
