Hi, friends! We hope everyone is having a fabulous Hump Day. People say that Wednesday is the hardest day of the week, but in our opinion, it's exactly the opposite. There's so much to celebrate. For one, half of the work week is over with and the weekend is that much closer. But if that's not a good enough reason for y'all, then maybe this new weekly segment will do the trick.
Everyone loves a good rescue story. There's just something so special about a previously abused, mistreated, or neglected doggo finding the perfect forever home with the perfect forever hoomans. Thus, we decided to incorporate it into a weekly segment where we'll highlight the newest adopted faces of the week along with their rescue stories, pictures, and everything in between. We're kicking things off strong with 14 doggos that were rescued from the streets, shelters, and unloving homes. We hope this segment will bring smiles to your faces and warmth to your hearts.
"This is Bates, I adopted him Dec. 3rd 2019. He sat in the shadows because he was used to no interaction and was the last of his litter to be picked because he was the only one that didn't have ice blue eyes and spotted fur (catahoula leopard dog) and his sad face made me fall in love so hard."
"The first month Camilo was home he was completely shut down and afraid of everything (me most of all). Fast forward to month two and he went so quickly from Worlds Scaredest Most Shut Down Boi to "no personal space for dad." If you're new to and struggling with this process, stick it out, I promise!"
"Shelters put down a lot of dogs before the 4th of July to make room for all of the dogs that run away because of fireworks. Before holidays with fireworks is a great time to check shelters for a companion!" - OP
