So, you love your job? Well, good for you, because you're in a lucky minority. The fact of the matter is, most people out there are doing the work they do because it is what puts food on the table. Despite this, there are many who also find themselves sinking in way more time and effort than their pay grade warrants.
Not surprisingly, this leaves a lot of workers miserable. It's also leading to a burgeoning movement of work reform — at least, if you're listening to someone like @zkchillin. The TikToker attracted a lot of attention recently for explaining the concept of "quiet quitting", where somebody continues to fulfil the baseline duties of their job, but refuses to go above and beyond under any circumstances. Plenty of viewers claimed that this was something they were already doing, and many more were in wholehearted support of the idea. Who would have thought doing exactly what your role is supposed to be would be so revolutionary?
