When a group of friends go out together, it's standard for them to actually interact with each other. Sure, people get distracted by their phones here and there, but for the most part, people are hanging out and conversing. That's the entire point of meeting up in person. The group activity should also be something that most of the group - if not all - is actually enjoying doing. It's really rude to disregard other people's feelings. In today's 'Am I the A$$hole?' post, OP posted about how her boyfriend and his friends expect her and their girlfriends to watch them play video games. They call it "game night" even though the girlfriends aren't playing and straight-up aren't having a good time. When OP told them that she rather wouldn't participate in a night where nobody actually hangs out, the group of guys accused her of ruining game night. Such childish behavior. Scroll down for all the details.
OP definitely sounds like she's in the right.
We have no idea why they think their girlfriends are actually having fun watching them play video games.
