There's nothing like a good ol' surprise. Whether it's a discovered $5 bill in the back pocket of those jeans you used to wear or a kind gesture from a passerby stranger, unexpected surprises lift our moods, our spirits, and maybe even inspire us for greatness. Welp, that's the topic of today's article: unexpected surprises.
We recently stumbled upon a thread where dog owners shared photos of their doggos along with a caption of what breed they were told their dog was vs. what they actually turned out to be. While these sorts of things mostly happen with adopted doggos, tons of so-called breeders will also lie just to make a sale. But you guys know what we always say; unless you have no other choice - adopt, don't shop. Along with that, we do have to note that adoption is no walk in the park, and no one ever said it was going to be easy from the get-go, but it is so worth it. It's important to not lose sight of what's truly important - giving your doggo the best life possible, no matter what breed, size, or mix he is.
That's one of the most unique mixes we've ever seen! Say what you want about mixed dogs but we absolutely love them (as long as it's not health concerns, of course). What we have to remember is that we're not adopting a doggo for its looks, but for its love and devotion.
This is way too relatable. We recently adopted a doggo ourselves and they told us the same thing, she's going to be a medium size dog. It didn't take long for us to realize that perhaps we were misled a tiny bit. Here's to all the ponies!
