'He was 32 pounds, he is now at 22': Chunky chonk kitty cat goes viral on TikTok for his adorable extra flab

Sometimes when you're looking for a pet there is an instant connection and it feels more like you found each other rather than you went to a rescue and just picked one out. That's what happened with TikToker Lea Dallas and her cat Bobby. This big guy was different than all the rest, he was extremely overweight and Dallas instantly fell in love. This big big chonky boy was so round and fat that Dallas wasn't about to just leave him here in the rescue, she instantly wanted to help him and give him the best life he could. Even though he still looks pretty big, he's already lost 10 pounds and Dallas says they're still working on getting him to his healthiest weight—in the meantime, TikTokers are absolutely in love with big 'ole chonky Bobby!

While she was at the shelter looking at cats to adopt, Bobby was the one she instantly connected with. The big giant fluff ball was extremely overweight and begging for help from a loving family. Dallas couldn't walk away and decided to adopt him.

Many viewers say he looks more like a PillowPet than a real cat, but that just means he is the best cuddle buddy—and Dallas assures them he is. She says that because he is obese and on a serious diet, she has a very strict routine with Bob. She feeds him differently than their other can, he needs lots of exercise, and he needs to be bathed twice a week. And if you're wondering about how the two cats get a long, Dallas says they are thick as thieves (though Bobby has been known to have an upper hand from time to time because of his huge size.)

"Bobby's back story is actually really really sad. The first four years of his life, they [his previous owners] just kept him in a room with a feeder and didn't really do any interaction with him. They just wanted him to stay out of the way. They then decided to give him to a friend and I think that was four years too late, but I'm glad that he was going to get re-homed. But then that family was like, 'wow, taking care of an obese cat is really really hard…' So they brought him to the animal shelter and that's when we saw him. My previous cat, Belle, was extremely angry all the time—it took two years to get her to open up. And it was the most amazing journey, because she ended up being the most loving kitty cat I've ever had. So when I saw Bobby I was like, 'I'mma take you on!' It's not easy, but wow is it so worth it and I cannot wait to get him down even more in pounds and he's a good boy!"

Though the beginning of Bobby's life might have been sad, he is living his best life now. His loving family not only includes a little kitty sibling, but also human siblings as well. He's constantly chilling and playing with all his family and again, with that much "fluff", you know he's an epic cuddler.
